Trust is everything in business, and when people cannot perform their legally agreed to deals, they quickly get a bad name for themselves. This is certainly true in the case of Raul Garcia Calvache of Desafio Internet (DesafioHosting.com).
The deal in question relates to the sale of the image hosting website Subirimagenes.com. Raul Garcia Calvache agreed to the sale of the website for 12,000 euros – a deal which was agreed to through Escrow.com. The deal was financed without delay, and Mr Garcia Calvache did not take steps to proceed with the deal further by transferring the domain name and website.
He then listed the domain for sale through Sedo.com, despite already agreeing to the sale of the website which had been paid for. After ignoring emails, we bought and paid for the domain again through Sedo.com. This was the second time we had purchased and paid for the domain name. Again, no response from Raul Garcia Calvache of Desafio Internet.
We were then informed by Sedo.com that Raul Garcia Calvache had already sold the domain to another party the day before, completing a deal outside of Sedo.com, breaching their terms of service, despite signing contracts twice for the sale of the domain to another party.
The business ethics and credibility of Raul Garcia Calvache of Desafio Hosting really should be called into question, and we would advise people not to do business with him or his companies. Have you had a bad experience with this individual? Comment below!
