The first one is the Svábhegy Observatory is an interactive astronomical experience center where you can see the red glowing Sun, the craters of the Moon or the galaxies. The predecessor of the observatory was built in the 1870s by a nobleman from the Highlands. Today, there are 6 buildings in the octagonal, ancient wooded area, 3 of which are domes where stars and planets were once detected and measured. The observatory is placed in the 12th district of Budapest, holding many programs not only for adults but also for children. The park with its romantic atmosphere and classicist domes is an ideal place for a date and a great place for a family program, but it is also worth a visit to see the starry sky without organizing a country trip. And if we believe it is worth going to an observatory only after dark, we are wrong since even on a bright or rainy day, we can do a lot of exciting things, like seeing what a meteorite looks like under microscopes.
The second one is the Budapest Retro experience center, promising an unforgettable nostalgic journey for all members of the family. We can admire the real Lada police car, even we can see what Bertalan Farkas brought to space with us, moreover, we can try ourselves in the studio of the contemporary Híradó as an announcer. And these are just a few of the countless experiences of the facility, presenting thousands of special objects where we can go back in time from 1960 to 1999. Those, who grew up during this period, can relive the everyday life of their childhood, and the younger while having so much fun in this interactive exhibition. The historical time travel is sure to keep the whole family busy for hours, so if we get hungry or thirsty, we can also try the Retro Bistro, where we can taste our childhood favorite food and drink.
The third one is Budapest River Cruise. While you are travelling to the Hungarian city centre, do not miss to try a Danube river cruise. Hungary is so famous for its tourism for visitors coming to us from all over the world to admire the most wonderful and famous places, to taste the flavors of the Hungarian traditional cuisine or even to consume our finest wines. We as locals sometimes do forget how lucky we are to live in this country, having full of natural resources and sights. During a Budapest River Cruise, we can be richer with watching the Pest and Buda embankments, the monumental historical buildings, and the amazing landscapes. You could love the river cruise programs in a rainy day as well, since the modern ships have indoor spaces, even trying the local bars and restaurants on board, having the opportunity to taste a famous Hungarian made wine. It could be a greatest venue for a birthday party or a date even an engagement, but also possible for locals on a Friday afternoon after the busy working week to chill and enjoy the experience receiving from natural energy.
